We will take time to listen
whatever the problem
The Revival Crossline telephone helpline offers a listening ear to support and encourage those struggling with personal, emotional or relationship problems, and to help those in crisis, whatever their concerns.
The helpline will also signpost callers to appropriate sources of further help and support within their own local community, throughout Scotland.
Callers will be given the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings and to make informed choices about their life-situation. Our aim is not to provide quick and easy answers but to help people find their own.
God Help Me!
'Don't bring a god onto the stage unless the situation demands it.' Life, unlike ancient Greek plays, often seems to.
Sometimes life's problems cause us to look for something beyond or greater than ourselves. At other times we feel so dissatisfied with life and our own selves that we are convinced that there must be more to life than this - and there is.
Crossline is aware that spiritual issues often arise in times of difficulty and crisis and seeks to help callers explore these deeper issues.
Our overall aim is to make a real and lasting difference to people's lives.
Ethos of Service
Our service is based on Christian commitment, insight and values. This means that we acknowledge the uniqueness and value of each individual caller and their right to make their own life choices. It does not mean that we require our callers to share our faith.

Daytime - 10am to 4pm

Our Volunteers

Quality Standard
Revival Crossline is operated by Crossline in Scotland. Crossline is a member of the Telephone Helplines Association and was awarded the THA's Quality Standard in January 2005. All our listeners work within the Association of Christian Counselor's Code of Ethics and Practice.
